Harmonic Generation #socialdistanSing video series
With the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic having affected our ability to perform together in public, Harmonic Generation members (current and alumni) and some other of our musical friends came together virtually to release a series of video projects our various social media channels on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Ever wonder how videos like these come together? It’s a multi-stage process that takes many hours of careful and precise work by each member of the group. Our singers practice and record their parts individually and send them to one of our members, who mixes and balances them into a single audio track. Then we each film our respective videos (and in some cases additional footage) using the audio as a reference. These are sent along to another member who conceives and edits everything together into the final video. It was a great way to continue making music together, when we couldn't actually be together to make music - hope you enjoy! |
